Sophon Drive's core team consists of experienced materials scientists and engineers with over a decade of expertise in electrochemical-related fields. Taking electrolytic hydrogen production as an example, AEM technology is recognized as the ultimate solution for green hydrogen production.

Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis (AEMWE) hydrogen production technology is poised to become the next-generation mainstream hydrogen production method due to its cost and efficiency advantages. For AEMWE applications, we have developed and launched Hydroion™ series materials, which include the Gen-series high-performance membranes and Form-series ionomers, providing stable and reliable material support for electrolyzers. The annual production capacity of Gen-series membranes exceeds 10000 square meters, while the Form-series ionomers have reached an annual production capacity of 1 ton,  supporting  electrolyzers with over 100MW of total capacity.

Sophon’s material platform can be extended to diverse applications such as CO₂ electrolysis and alkaline flow batteries. We are actively contributing to the global clean energy transition through our diversified material solutions, driving the industry's momentum with innovation.
